Seven Net Shopping, the online retail site of the 7-Eleven convenience store chain in Japan, listed the January 2012 issue of Kadokawa Group Publishing‘s Viva Tales of Magazine, and the listing has “Tales of Xillia the Animation” written in the issue’s contents.
damn, if that were true, that’d be really awesome. the ingame cutscenes’re done by ufotable, whom i truely love. Now if they were to do an anime for tales of xillia, one of my most awaited “to be localized” games, i’d go crazy.
Tales series’ games don’t sell that well outside japan thus the tough times we go through waiting for localization. man, wish i knew more japanese 🙂
FYI: the tales video games franchise is a series of RPG games with excellent anime like stories and cool action RPG style of play developed by Namco Tales Studio, a subsidiary of Namco Bandai Games. Until now, tales of the abyss and tales of eternia were made into anime episodes, tales of vesperia into a movie, and tales of symphonia and tales of phantasia into an OVA series.
